Fern & Forge is a small British maker brand built around one simple idea, make outdoor gear that feels solid, looks great, and lasts.

Fern & Forge was built for people who’d rather be outside than stuck staring out the window wishing the day would hurry up.

We started with a simple frustration: too many “portable” BBQs are basically disposable. Flimsy folding grills that wobble, don’t get hot enough, and end up in the bin. Kettle BBQs that cook well… but are bulky, messy, and a pain to lug around.

So we decided to build something better.

The Nomad Grill Was Born

Fern & Forge began with a mission, portable shouldn’t mean disposable.

Using 15 years of product design experience, we set out to create a grill that you can throw in the camper, take to the beach, head into the hills with, and use time after time after time.

The result is the Nomad Grill — UK-made, durable, and built from thick steel. It packs down flat, travels easily, and when it’s time to cook it simply slots together.

We’ve always had that sense of adventure — camping, fishing, hunting, getting out whenever we can. And we’ve always been obsessed with cooking.

But we didn’t want outdoor cooking to mean “a burger and a sausage and that’s your lot.” The Nomad is designed to push beyond basic.
