Fern & Forge is a small British maker brand built around one simple idea: make outdoor gear that feels solid, looks great, and lasts.

We started out working with steel and learning what it takes to build products that can live outside in real weather—rain, mud, heat, cold, the lot. Over time, we realised we didn’t want to be “a bit of everything”. We wanted to focus on a tight range of products we can be proud of, improve constantly, and stand behind properly.

So we’ve stripped it right back.

Today, Fern & Forge is just three products—each designed to do its job brilliantly, without fuss.

We’re hands-on with every stage: design, prototyping, making, finishing, and packing. That means we can obsess over the details that matter—how it fits together, how it feels to use, and how it holds up after a proper weekend outdoors.

We’re not interested in throwaway kit. We build things you’ll want to keep.

The one you take anywhere.
The Nomad is made for people who don’t want to overthink it—pack it, set it up, and get on with the good part. It’s portable, dependable, and built for real trips: campsites, fields, beaches, back gardens, and everything in between.

The Forge

The full-size setup.
The Forge is our flagship. Bigger presence, bigger capability, and made for longer sessions—whether that’s cooking for a group, hosting friends, or settling in for a proper evening outside.

It’s sturdy, practical, and designed to feel like the centre of the space when it’s lit.

The Mini Forge

Small footprint. Same attitude.
The Mini Forge keeps the same Fern & Forge build quality in a more compact format. It’s ideal when space is tight, packing light matters, or you just want something simple that still feels premium.

Quick to use, easy to live with, and built to take a beating.
