The measure announced on 14th August applies specifically to single-use disposable barbecues, which retailers have been advised to withdraw from sale during the current wildfire risk. The Nomad is a reusable, purpose-built portable BBQ and remains available to buy as normal. It slots together from 4 pieces of steel with no tools required, so setup is quick and straightforward. Once it’s built, Light the charcoal and start cooking. Then keep the fire going and turn it into a firepit once you’re done.

Because it’s made from thick mild steel, it holds heat well and feels properly sturdy under food. When you’re finished, it’s easy to clean: let it cool, scrape it down, wipe it over, and you’re ready for the next trip.
